The movie 'Youth' by Chinese director Feng Xiaogang has been a hot topic both at home and abroad. Here staged the 'International Youth' at a year-end party in Shanghai.

About 200 foreign college students and friends from almost 40 countries recently had a joyful New Year party at the Yangpu campus of Shanghai University of Electric Power, greeting the arrival of 2018.

Most of these expats study or work in northeast Shanghai's Yangpu District. At the party, they presented different kinds of programs along with their Chinese friends, such as Tai Chi, traditional and modern dances, sports skills, guitar playing and singing, recitation and musical.

With the guidance of the Shanghai People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries (SPAFFC), the event was hosted by the Yangpu Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries (YPAFFC) and organized by the Shanghai University of Electric Power.

The officials from some foreign consulates general in Shanghai also attended the event.
