Opposite to the high-rise building complex of Lujiazui in Pudong, the Star Harbor International Center under construction is located in Hongkou District, facing the Huangpu River. It consists of two buildings that claim to be the city’s highest twin towers.

The center will become a TOD (transit-oriented development) transportation hub with the largest single building in the district. The center will connect with the Gongpinglu Dock and Metro Line 12, and there will be corridors between its two buildings both under and above the ground, open 24 hours a day.
Once the center is completed, a rooftop garden will be open to the public. With an area of 17,500 square meters, the garden is said to be the largest of its kind in the district. Standing there, people will be able to have a panoramic view of Shanghai’s “golden triangle” (the North Bund Area, the Bund, and Lujiazui).
