With the China International Import Expo approaching, three legal services centers have been set up to better serve the global exhibitors and buyers.

Initiated by the Shanghai Bureau of Justice, the three centers - the International Legal Service Center for CIIE, the People’s Mediation Center for CIIE and the Xujing Town Joint Mediation Center for CIIE – were inaugurated early this month. Located on the 4th floor of Gate 11 of the National Exhibition and Convention Center’s No.1 Hall, they will assemble a team of lawyers and mediators with expertise in handling foreign-related matters so as to offer legal consultation and dispute mediation services.

In the coming days, lists of the legal, mediation, notary and forensic testimony services offered by the three centers will be detailed together with the contact information of the services team.

During the import expo, the official website of the Shanghai Bureau of Justice will launch a special online column titled “CIIE International Legal Services” where lawyers, notaries and forensic experts will be ready to provide relevant services.
