As the only supporting convention and exhibition industry forum to be held during the first China International Import Expo (CIIE), the China Convention & Exhibition Industry International Trade Forum (CEIITF) will take place on November 6, 2018.

The theme of the forum is “Conventions and Exhibitions Promote Economic and Trade Development,” highlighting the synergy between the convention and exhibition industry and economic development with its lever effect on social and economic development.

It has been confirmed that Director of the WTO Secretariat’s Trade Policies Review Division, Willy Alfaro, President of the China Association of Enterprises with Foreign Investment and former Minister of Commerce, Chen Deming, and VP of the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry APAC region, Zhong Gang, will be present at the forum.

The forum will play a critical part in promoting industrial discussion, policy interpretation, market development, cooperation and exchanges, so as to boost the whole convention and exhibition industry in the country.

In the wake of the CIIE, the convention and exhibition industry will be an active player to serve China’s national development strategy and promote China’s new round of opening up at a higher level. Furthermore, it is expected to strike multi-level strategic cooperation with international business giants in such areas such as marketing and talent recruitment.
