Wendao Garden, located in Baoshan District of Shanghai, is a garden characterized by Hui-style architecture, one of the major Chinese architectural styles of ancient times.

With an area of over 1000 mu, the garden is the largest Hui-style architecture complex in Shanghai, including uncanny rocks with exquisite inscriptions, memorial archways of the Wanli era of the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644) and a garden drawing room belonging to the 54th generation of descendants of Zhu Geliang, Prime Minister of the Shu Kingdom in ancient Sichuan.

An ancient opera stage was removed from Shanxi province, its original place and restored. It was originally funded by squires in the 57th year of Emperor Kangxi of the Qing Dynasty(1644-1911).

Zhu Geliang’s 54th descendant’s government office was built in the middle of the Qing Dynasty(1644-1911) and has been moved from Baibu Street of Lanxi, Zhejiang province.
