A comprehensive drill for the upcoming second China International Import Expo (CIIE) was held on Tuesday, October 15.

The drill was carried out to test the preparedness for different scenarios, in the fields of fire safety, energy provision, food safety, first aid, emergency communications and catering services.

Intelligent robot Jinbao can be seen in many places across the event venue, the National Exhibition and Conference Center. Featuring voice interaction, the CIIE mascot can provide on-site services for visitors and exhibitors.

To cater to a large visitor flow, a drill was also held in the dining area of the exhibition center.

To help people implement garbage sorting, there will be staff offering on-site assistance at the National Exhibition and Conference Center.

A command vehicle of China Mobile debuted in the emergency drill. The vehicle is equipped with a 16-square-meter meeting room, providing on-site command, Internet monitoring, communications and logistics support.

Volunteers will provide information, advice and guidance at the event venue.
