Frontline workers at airport decorate protective gear
By:Wu Qiong   |  From:english.eastday.com  |  2020-03-30 10:56

As imported cases of COVID-19 in Shanghai are on the rise, requiring stricter prevention and control at airports, many young people have joined the frontline to fight against the spread of the coronavirus and protect inbound travelers as best as they can. A group of young people from Changning District Sports Bureau have been volunteering at Pudong Terminal 1 since mid-February. They draw on their protective gear to cheer themselves and others up.

At first, they did the drawings to relieve pressure at work, so they were surprised that their colleagues and the passengers at the airport also liked their simple and cute scrawls.

(“We love China.”)

(A gun points at the coronavirus)

(“You will never walk alone”, Liverpool Football Club’s motto)

(A minion says to his daughter: "Daddy loves you.")

(“I eat when I feel unhappy, but then get fatty, and I become unhappier.”)

(“Welcome back home, Shanghai medics to Wuhan. You are our pride.”)

(Bartholemew Bear, a character in the Japanese anime “One Piece”)

(In honor of the friendship between China and Serbia)

(“Follow me!”)

(Monkey King comes to kill the coronavirus)

(“Shanghai Shenhua FC is the champion”)
