On November 1, a press conference of the fifth China International Import Expo (CIIE) was held in Shanghai.
The 5th CIIE will be held from Nov 5-10, and will include several new subsections. To celebrate the fifth anniversary of the expo, a "From Exhibitors to Investors" subsection will be established at Hall 6.2 of the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai) for the first time. Many "old friends" of the expo will appear at the subsection to review their development over the past few years.
A total of 66 countries and 3 international organizations will attend the National Exhibition of the 5th CIIE, and exhibitors from 127 countries and regions will participate in the Business Exhibition.
The business exhibition contains six areas including food and agriculture, auto, technical equipment, consumer goods, medical devices and medicine health, and service trade. A total of 284 of the world's top 500 and industry-leading enterprises have confirmed their participation in the fifth CIIE.
N95/KN95 masks must be worn at all times when entering pavilions. All participants will be required to present a negative Nucleic Acid Test (NAT) taken within 24 hours prior to firstly entering pavilions each day.
