GAZA, June 8 (Xinhua) -- An Islamic Hamas movement's official stressed on Thursday that the movement is very conscious not to line up with anyone in reference to the crisis between several Arab and Islamic states with Qatar.

"Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, and the Palestinian resistance are careful not to do so," said Khalil al-Hayya, a deputy to Gaza Hamas chief.

His remarks were made in the funeral of a Hamas militant, who was killed in an accident in a military training camp that belongs to Hamas armed wing in Rafah town in southern Gaza Strip.

Al Hayya said "we must unite the nation and avoid all disagreements through unity and understanding, so it will be an elevation for Palestine and a rage for our Zionist enemies."

He called on the media "not to insert or push the name of Hamas and the Palestinian resistance into such issues to divide the nation and our resistance," adding "we are on our way to Jerusalem, our enemy is known, and our weapon is directed at the Zionist occupation, and do not fight anyone else."

On Monday, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Egypt, Yemen and Libya cut diplomatic ties with Qatar, accusing it of supporting terrorism and terrorist groups, destabilizing the region and involving in the internal affairs of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries.
