JAKARTA, Sept. 15 (Xinhua) -- The COVID-19 cases in Indonesia rose by 3,507 within one day to 225,030, with the death toll adding by 124 to 8,965, the health ministry said on Tuesday.
According to the ministry, 2,660 more people were discharged from hospitals, bringing the total number of recovered patients to 161,065.
The virus has spread to all the country's 34 provinces.
Specifically, within the past 24 hours, Jakarta recorded 1,076 new cases, East Java 378, West Java 347, North Sumatra 249 and Central Java 198.
New positive cases were found in all provinces. Enditem
