WASHINGTON, Jan. 3 (Xinhua) -- Two separate shootings in the U.S. state of Florida's Miami-Dade County have left 12 people wounded, said local police on Sunday.

According to NBC News, two gunmen, who have not been identified yet, started shooting at people near a basketball court, injuring eight people with six of them in serious condition.

In a separate shooting in the Allapattah neighborhood, the police said, four others were injured. The victims have been taken to a local hospital and are currently in stable condition. Enditem
