MOSCOW, Jan. 26 (Xinhua) -- Russia's former Deputy Prime Minister Sergei Prikhodko died at the age of 64 after suffering from a prolonged illness, Russia's Kommersant business daily reported Tuesday.

Prikhodko served as the deputy prime minister of Russia for five years from May 2013 to May 2018.

He became the first deputy head of the Russian Government Office in 2018 and was appointed as an assistant to Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin in 2020. Enditem
