ISLAMABAD, April 23 (Xinhua) -- At least four paramilitary troops were killed and three others injured when a bomb hit their convoy in Pakistan's southwest Kech District Sunday night, local media reported.

Dawn News said that Frontier Corps personnel were on their way to Mand area when their convoy was hit by a remote controlled device in the Kech District of the southwestern Balochistan Province.

Some unknown militants fixed the explosives at roadside and blew them up as the convoy passed by.

The report added that one vehicle in the convoy was completely destroyed in the blast.

The injured soldiers were shifted to a nearby hospital.

No group has claimed responsibility for the attack yet.

Security forces cordoned off the area for investigations.
