　　1986年11月10日至13日，中国人民银行在北京举行了中美金融市场研讨会，当时的媒体用“华尔街大亨将‘金融市场’带到人民大会堂”作标题。11月14日，邓小平同志在人民大会堂会见了美国纽约证券交易所董事长约翰·范尔霖，并向其赠送了一张面值50元的上海飞乐音响股份有限公司股票，俗称“小飞乐”。1986年11月16日，约翰·范尔霖来到中国工商银行上海信托投资公司静安证券业务部，办理了股票过户手续。

　　From November 10 to 13, 1986, the People’s Bank of China held a China-U.S. financial market symposium. At the time, the media even carried such headline as “The Wall Street Tycoons Bring ‘Financial Market’ to the Great Hall of the People” to describe the event. On November 14, Comrade Deng Xiaoping met with John Phelan, chairman of New York Stock Exchange, at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing and presented him with a one-stock certificate of Shanghai Feilo Acoustics Co., Ltd. with a face value of 50 yuan. On November 16, John Phelan went to Jing’an stock brokerage of Shanghai Trust and Investment Company under the Industrial and Commercial Bank of China to transfer ownership of the stock he had received.
