Star Wars: The Force Awakens had a premiere at the Grand Theater in Shanghai, Dec 27, 2015. Director J. J. Abrams, film producer Kathleen Kennedy and leading actors Daisy Ridley and John Boyega hit the red carpet. Donnie Yen couple also appeared as distinguished guests. The seventh installment in the Star Wars film series will be screened in China from Jan. 9, 2016.
