Beautiful Kirie Pictures are seen during Exhibition of Japanese Artist Shu Kubo at Shanghai Yuhong Art Center in Shanghai,November 26,2015.Shu Kubo uses handmade washi (traditional Japanese paper) and combines it with various materials, including ordinary paper, fabric and even sand.The Exhibition will be held in Shanghai from November 25 to December 6,2015.The event is co-organized by International Economy&Culture Exchange Center of Eastday.com.

Theme as “Japonisme in paper”,the exhibition highlights the works that depict places, foods and other things in Japan symbolizing the four seasons. Some pieces also contains Kubo’s interpretations of places he has traveled to both in Japan and overseas.

Born in 1951, Kubo Shu held his first personal exhibition at a gallery in Osaka in 1977;since then, he has been expanding his exhibition and gallery works throughout Japan.
