The Grand Theatre – People’s Square
The Grand Theatre was established in 1928 by Chinese merchant Gao Yongqing and American Albert Warner (founder of Warner Bros.) and reconstructed in 1933 by Laszlo Hudec. It was the first wide screen movie theater and the first stereo cinema in Asia.
The Grand Theatre was renovated in 2008.
