Chinese Zodiac Culture Festival of the year of dog was held in the Shanghai Zoo. However, the theme is “The charm of the Wolf and the call of the wild”. Why is that? Dogs have been domesticated by wolves for a long time. Therefore, wolves are the ancestors of dogs, which should be taken seriously. The festival aims to improve the public's awareness of wildlife by introducing the life status, biological characteristics and current status of the wild Wolf to the public.
