In South Korea, the day is called Jeongwol Daeboreum (literally "First Full Moon") Festival. Unlike Chinese people, Koreans eat a cooked dish made with glutinous rice, sorghum rice, red bean, millet, black beans and other grains. They also eat peanuts, walnuts, pine nuts, chestnuts and ginkgo and drink “gwibalgisul”(literally “ear-sharpening wine”) to get the blessing of hearing good news throughout the year.([Photo/Xinhua])
