The creation takes inspiration from Shanghai’s city flower, the magnolia. The plants used are mainly petunias, impatiens, begonia semperflorens and alternanthera bettzickianas. So the flower feature is a veritable celebration of the range of flowers to be found blooming at this time of year as well as Shanghai’s horticultural symbol.
