Rickshaws, Shikumen, phonographs: the underground space of a shopping mall in Pudong has brought vintage objects reminiscent of the old days of Shanghai back to a modern space. The space, named Alley 1192, transports the visitors back to Shanghai in the 1930s by presenting those facilities of old Shanghai including small alleys, warehouses, street markets, ballrooms and wharves, which relive the city’s first golden era.

Alley 1192 is located in the second underground floor of the Century Link Mall in Pudong.
