The Global Financial Centres Index 24 was released on Sepetember jointly by the China Development Institute (CDI) in Shenzhen and Z/Yen Partners in London. Among the 100 global financial centers, Shanghai overtook Tokyo to move into fifth place in the index gaining 25 points in the ratings. The best ranked ten financial centers in this edition are New York, London, Hong Kong, Singapore,Shanghai, Tokyo, Sydney, Beijing, Zurich, Frankfurt.
