Italian fashion house Dolce & Gabbana (D&G) has sparked outrage after its co-founder’s Instagram meltdown over an ad Chinese consumers claim is racist. Not only was its Shanghai show cancelled, but a lot of Chinese celebrities have also broken off their relationship with the company. What has most angered the Chinese public is not only Stefano Gabbana’s dismissive attitude towards the incident, but also the company’s disrespect for the Chinese market.
