The 15-square-meter Bauhaus Bus is a miniature clone of the Dessau Bauhaus building’s workshop wing. Inside the structure is a mini Bauhaus Library with book shelves, desks and chairs, and an air conditioner. The glass curtain wall on one side of the bus provides readers with sufficient natural light. Many books on the shelves are written in German. After August 15, the Bauhaus Bus will leave Pudong Library for Xintiandi in Huangpu, and its last stop in Shanghai is the iconic city landmark - the Bund.
