Starting from June 25, the 9th Shanghai Lotus and Water Lily Exhibition will be held in Guyi Garden for one month. Guyi Garden was built during the Jiajing Reign of the Ming Dynasty (1522-1566), and is the largest among the five famous classical gardens in Shanghai. 2,000 pots of lotuses of about 500 varieties will be shown in this exhibition, among which 20 lotus species will be shown for the first time in Shanghai.
