People are also expected to take part in different activities such as lucky draw. There will be various activities for kids at weekend.

It is worth mentioning that a delegation from Basal comes to Shanghai for the Swiss Week. The canton established sister-city relationship with Shanghai a decade ago. The Consul General of Switzerland in Shanghai Alexander Hoffet said in the opening speech that "the fruitful cooperation between Shanghai and Basal serves as a vivid example of the excellent bilateral relationship between Switzerland and China".

The "Sino-Swiss Low-carbon Cities" project in Jinshan District which will be launched by the end of this month is another case of this close cooperation, said the Consul General.
