Let's look at how they dressed up for the fun run and walk:

来自嘉定区癌症康复协会的卫女士和伙伴们一路健走，一路欢歌，她说，“能和大家来参加户外活动，非常开心！”

Ms. Wei is from the Jiading District Cancer Recovery Association. She sang and smiled, "I am so glad to take part in this outdoor event with so many friends".

活动现场，还有不少来自各国的志愿者服务其中，他们或是发放宣传册，或是递水、指路，或是加油助威。在上海工作的新西兰人Glenn Peat说，那些身患癌症但依然乐观面对生活的女性令他十分感动。他觉得，每个人都应该投入进来，为“粉红丝带”出力。“我的女儿今天也来了，你往前走，说不定就能看到她”。

There were many Chinese and foreign volunteers working at the event. A New Zealander Glenn Peat was one of them. He said that he was moved by the strong and optimistic  women living with cancer. His view is that everyone should get more involved in the "Pink Ribbon" movement.  He added, "My daughter is here today. You can see her over there."

此项活动的创办者是居住在浦东金桥的美国人苏珊Suzanne。她的母亲在2011年10月患乳腺癌离世。之后，她建立了“超越意识”公益组织，关注癌症的预防和术后康复。

Suzanne, an American living in Pudong, originally founded the event. Her mother died of breast cancer in October 2011. After that, she established the MTA for cancer prevention and rehabilitation.

据了解，上海癌症康复俱乐部（SCRC）的乳腺癌康复率高达 90%，位列世界最高水平。90%的高康复率主要得益于专注由内至外的健康意识、积极防治的生活方式和妇女团体的各项支持。因此，SCRC 已成为世界卫生组织和哈佛大学的实验性基地。

The Shanghai Cancer Recovery Club (SCRC) has a documented 90% recovery rate from breast cancer, which is one of the highest in the world. This 90% recovery rate is from focusing on wellness from within, a proactive prevention lifestyle and sisterhood support. Consequently, SCRC is an experimental site for the World Health Organization and Harvard University.
