The annual National Arts Exposition & Performance for University Students kicked off on April 16, 2018. Hosted by the Ministry of Education and the Shanghai Municipal Government and held by the Shanghai Municipal Education Commission, the event is the fifth edition since its inception in 2005. A variety of art performances were held, including singing, drama, recitation and dance. The fifth national conference on art education research papers was also held.
