| This year marks the 600th annverserary of the maiden voyage of Zheng He,
China's greatest maritime explorer in the 15th century. Leading one of the
greatest fleets of all time, Zheng made seven voyages from Asia to Africa and
took to the seas nearly a century before the European age of exploration began
in earnest. |
